Daggers
Or knife weapons are used as thrusting and stabbing weapons used in close combat. The use of these weapons goes so far back in human history to ancient times. During ancient periods knives were actually sued in ceremonies and rituals. The cross guards are used to protect the hands from its edges.
Daggers were made of different materials throughout time from bones to the earliest metals such as copper. The styles differed among civilizations from The Pre-Roman dagger and the Iberian dagger made of iron, with both blades varying in overall width.
